Re: acoustical levitation
Wed, November 29, 2006 - 10:43 PMInteresting......I once read an article about a scientist who supposedly had gone to Tibet a long time ago, maybe 100 years or so and had observed monks levitating large objects within a circle of various instruments. I had wondered if there was anything to that. Maybe it was true?????

Ultra-Sonic Levitation... If you call that acoustic... and I do, but really... is it audible? Only the resultant vibrations of the casing and the noise of pulsing air at audible are heard....
We can't hear about 30k hz. usually....
video.google.com/videoplay
there is also a legend that the Tibetans could move rocks with sound....
I think maybe its' true, cause... if you can generate audible sound, maybe you can generate with acoustic instruments, ultra sonic tones!

Re: acoustical levitation
Fri, July 20, 2007 - 10:08 PMStrange thing I noticed is with my orgone breating sometimes I get a roaring sound that makes me feel like a peice of ash in a corona discharge flickering around without any control. Anything around with an ignition coil like a plane car or lawnmoer can pull and push at me. I can sometimes control the sound channeling it from the sun and there has been times that very powerfull winds started rushing towards me and swirled around me. This was all accedentally discovered while healing myself with breathing.

Once, a medium time ago in a land not too far away I felt my feet leave the earth while playing Tenor Sax. -

Re: acoustical levitation
Mon, March 3, 2008 - 10:36 PMIt's called "Being in the Zone"
Those huge Tibetan trumpets played in ensembles with the crashing gongs and bells, used to shatter the ether barriers. Add to this a choir of overtone singers and the megaliths will stand in attention.
Use the wrong type of trumpets (as in Jericho) and the stones will come tumbling down.
The power of Jazz -

Re: acoustical levitation
Tue, March 4, 2008 - 6:13 AMI love tenor sax! But my favorite thrill is Contra Bass Clarinet! I played one in high school, and when looking at digital images, the light from a clock would literally move about 12 inches outside the box of the clock when I was playing! -

Re: acoustical levitation
Wed, March 5, 2008 - 7:16 AMwow - - - I played Contra Bass in High School TOO!
Choir and Band were what I lived for then. Never having learned to read music, as last third clarinet I listened and mimicked.
Contra Bass became my concert band instrument ( in my senior year ). I loved it - - - slow and low, I could kind of learn the parts easily.
It led to picking up a Tenor after being invited to join a band while I was in the Air Force.
I'm floating now ;-] -

I especially liked the end paragraph.
